If I can work out how to post a pic here is my MT500e. Originally an MT350, Force motorcycles supplied it with a few nice bits and a new 500cc engine.

The Distanzia's stick to the road EXTREMELY well.
Lovely shiny bike there Mark. You'll have to get knobblies on soon and we'll ride the awesome lanes of Kent to get it a bit dirtier.

Yes, Avon Distanzias. They're good.
I just swapped over from my winter off road wheels with Army Specials!
It's shiny because I cleaned it and sprayed it with WD40. Didn't look like this first thing Saturday morning!

Bike did go well today. Funny how they seem to go faster after you clean them!
Each time I swap wheels/tyres over I always kind of wish I had the other ones on. Much though I like the Army Special (or whatever they call them now) the Distanzia is more stable at speed and better round the corners.
On the plus side I did 1750 kilometers on the Army Specials with no discernible wear. On the front I could swear I did wheelies all the way as some of the little rubber dibbly bits are still evident on the central knobblies.

I have a 500e. Standard sprocket is 17t. I use the CV carb with a #42 starter and a #165 main jet along with the standard carb and air box mods. Goes like stink.
The gas mileage on them is shocking though. 30mpg as a running average. Plenty of grunt though.
I am just building another 500e at the moment.
