I took a photo of this bike in the Arromanches Museum carpark on D-Day 2008.

I think its the same one because i ve been there at d-day.

We had a house near longues sur mer, and went to Arromanches a lot.

This year im going normandy to, riding along the coast from the Netherlands to france.

Can you send the picture to me or post it.

Nice pictures, The casemate is indeed the battery at longues sur mer. the other gun was blown out by allied fire and the barrel is stuck in the ground. I visited several sites including arromanches and pont du hoc,vierville etc and hope to get another trip organised with my brother on the MT,s
