David's ride

Post by morpheus » Sun Oct 25, 2009 9:14 am

From David
I got my bike from nick at force , I put a hinge on a jerrycan , now a spacious carrier ,boxed out a canvas bag then put some reflectors on both, last addition a leather gun box. Many thanks david.

Nice looking bike David,

I like the jerry can - does the top part actually carry fuel?

Not sure about the gun carrier though!!

Nice looking bike David. I took the standard SA80 gun box off mine because my rifles would not fit in it. Do you use your bike for taking rifles or shotguns out shooting with at all.

the jerry can is a good idea had two on my 500 when i bought it welded some small brackects onto the pannier frame and put some bolts through to secure them in place and to prevent them being removed by unwanted guests. currently rebuilding it will post a pic soon. nice looking 500 of yours dave. ;)

no i dont own a gun ,its just for show , got it in france when visiting friends [ 8.00 euros] i wanted to fit it on my bike similar to my previous mt 350 but my jerrybox is in the way ,so where i put it is the only other suitable place a gun carrier could go ,in my mind anyhow, david.
