Here is my MT500, fully finished this time last year after a complete strip down,
All consumables and dodgy parts replaced thanks to the help of LMS, it runs great, and once you get the knack they start fine

I know the pannier bags are not the correct type but they are so handy for carrying your bits and pieces

The longest ride so far is about 6 hours. Since that run a member of a local Vintage Motorcycle club would like it in his collection. If I were to part with it what would a reasonable value be

If that were mine I personally wouldn't let it go for anything less than £1500. As with anything though the price depends on supply and demand. Very nice restored example though - I'm sure you'll regret selling it.

What ever you get for it , it won't be enough! Considering all the work you've put in , personally I think the 500 is very underrated in the value dept , hang on to her would be my advice

Just had a week off work for Easter and the MT500 had a few runs out, brings a smile to my face every time, I think it will be in my collection for a few years to come :D
