Pardon my ignorance, but where are the "classics" (other than your MT500). Too often classic seems to be a term applied to anything over 12 rather than the likes of the MT500 which can be traced back to CCM and thus BSA B50 and so on. Lots of crap was made long ago - classic to my mind means there has been a history of development of an idea through a period of time. Ego the MT 500 (especiallt with MT350 front end!).

Have a closer look, there's more than a 350 front end - engine guard, cowl, e/s, fuel filler cap, rear support tubes, rear disc, rear shocks ......?
Maybe the missing MT350 barkbusters threw you off the scent.
Dunno where you learnt your Latin but ego?? I think you mean ergo , which has quite a different meaning

There was a BSA rocket 3 just past the 1917 Triumph model H 550...
Me and my brother in law on the Firestorm had two of the newer bikes, that yellow thing is only 16 years old! There were a whole load of Tridents and things round the corner too, also a nice Kawasaki 650 bsa copy thing (W1?) Truth is they were low on bikes on Sunday and the guy asked us to come back on the Monday with bikes and get a free pitch!
Also note that the MT is the only one without a puddle of oil under it, for once!
