My New ride: MT640e Hybrid.

Hello, I'm sad to say I've sold my MT500 with Dellorto, Heated grips and scabbard (few moments respectful silence for it's 9 years or exemplary loyal service).
BUT WA-HEY!! I've replaced it with a Harley with a CCM 640 electric start. It was already in pretty good shape with Renthol bars 100mph speedo with trip but needed a few things doing.
So far I've had to :
-Service it (Iridium plug)
-Replace the engine/carburettor gaiter
-New carburettor cable (Damn Dellorto has different end!)
-clean carburettor
-Gearing (still had 350 cogs! took centre stand off to clear front sprocket for time being)
-Refurbish the front brake (what a bugger to bleed).
-Reseal and weld a bracket on the stainless exhaust (but Jeez, it's still way too loud).
-Replace rear tyre (got good one on spare rim with it)
It starts easy and and go's like stink all the way to 90-odd mph but is too loud and had a sub-100 mile range.
So to make it more comfortable and usable I fitted:
-Rear seat pad (I used velcro so it can be removed and it's already got pillion pegs)
-Heated grips (wired through ignition switch)
-Plastic brush guards
-Decompresser lever on handle bar
-12v auxiliary socket on handle bars (phone & Sat Nav)
-Apophis long range tank with quick release twin taps & bar risers
-fitted front pannier rack and boxes
-Gun scabbard (not yet fitted)
It's still too loud. I'm toying with the idea of a screen although the handle bars are looking cramped for space already, an oil cooler and maybe an alarm.
I'll keep you posted....
