Haven't had a decent ride for weeks. Managed to get out on a fine Highland autumn day today and take a few pics, complete with MT500 bags (thanks Barrie!)

What a great ride out and she performed faultessly . I could photograph the bike all day!

i think they are for putting out forrest fires we have some up here on the forest commision land

Why it's to put out a raging heather fire of course. One swipe of that thing would have the fire quaking in its embers.

Or perhaps a handy roadside spanking device thoughtfully provided by the Council.

Yes A93, good guess - the only other round here I know of is Cairn O Mount. Any up your way?

No, don't know but I'm not the right guy to ask. I'm sure there are places if you are in the know but it's difficult, unfortunately we don't have the Green Lane thing going our southern brethren benefit from.
