Wow, that was an interesting exchange.

In my case I'm keeping my MT, but I'm leaving! So my poor 500 will sit parked in a mate's secure garage for 2 years while I go galivanting off to the tropical wilds again, cavorting with Honda XR's and the like. Only a week to go before I park it. :cry:

I'll keep logging in and watching what you guys are up to. I'll contribute as I can, probably more in the Land Rover and Other Bike sections, and will keep reading up, learning more about the MT's and deciding what I want to do with mine over the long term, either restore or customise.

Anyway, I've still got a week and still have to sort out my Dellorto... :)
