Hi all, with the meeting not far off now, just a bit of advice ,i think there will be a lot of speed cameras about and police hiding and stoping motorist futher down the road,up in North Wales at the moment we are having a lot of motorcyclist killed ,and there mostly coming down for the day there was 3 killed in one weekend so the police are out more ,i dont want to put the dampers on the event its just if you do ride fast youl probably get a ticket, any way looking forward to seeing you there, and enjoy

Thanks for the warning.

I'd be amazed if you couldn't exceed 40mph even on off-road only knobblies
Squeaky clean - speed, mud covering number plate, luggage not properly secured, etc and just because you have passed a marked police car two miles earlier, don't assume that there won't be another police unit for miles

Traveling more slowly on an MT, don't be surprised by strings of road bikes streaming past, the tail-end Charlies taking all manner of risks to keep up with their mates

It all changes when you get off into MT territory, there is a lot to enjoy

The Welsh Police have always been a bit heavy with bikes speeding but that's a bit over the top Keith.

You only get a fine and some points on your license down here in Devon.

Took a ride down to the Towers camp site today ,there are no signs for the site ,so if this helps here we go,if your on the A5 and you get in to Llangollen you turn right at the traffic lights ,about 500 yards you cross a bridge and you give way and turn left ,you travel as if your heading out of town on your right there will be a big brown tourist information sign you only see the back of the sign as your approaching ,you turn right there and follow the road and it brings you to the campsite ,if you come down from the Ponderosa just look out for the brown sign and turn just in front of it,the weather was good today if its like this next week we are on a winner
