broken kick start lever

Day 1 of ownership..hugely excited...right up until the point where the kick start lever sheared on the 3rd attempt to start (where the hex bolt near the shaft). Grateful if anyone can suggest an alternative lever that might work? Or a fix that might be worth looking at? Or perhaps has a spare they are willing to sell? Thanks in advance everyone. Tony

Welcome to the club. Had mine for about 14 years, it's a reliable bike once sorted. On the kickstarter, can it be welded? Any car body shop would do in 5 minutes.
