Took the old girl for her first MOT. Very understanding tester, came away £29 lighter and with the all important Green certificate. Now all I need to do is visit the DVLA in Northampton.

Got some LED spots and tried to sort out headlight problem. Over tightened back screw on headlight and broke it (Monday). doh Ordered 'New' light from KL , fmf then tells me one is available on a certain sight but decided it may not arrive in time for 'little meet'.
Nice 'New' Headlight arrives this morning

Came into work on the Tiger today, mainly because I need to do some miles today. It's faster, more comfortable, handles better, is more economical and is nippier in traffic too ... but no doubt i'll be back on the MT tomorrow.

I think I've just successfully completed the 3rd phase mod to my rectifier....saying that, I haven't checked it yet when the bike is running so I could have just said something I shouldn't have. Off for a ride to test if all is working as it should

Worth checking before riding off - run the engine and check you have 14.4V at the battery terminals before taking it out.
Otherwise if there is a problem then you're going to a) set the wiring loom on fire b) bust your magneto stator (£800 from Rotax) or c) boil the acid in your battery which will explode all over your leg or d) end up with a flat battery and no brake light e) break your new rectifier.

OOPs! didn't see this till now...nothing disastrous happened fortunately. If something bad was going to happen how long would it take? Went out for hour and half ride and all seems well. But I will check it in the morning as its dark nowben wrote:Worth checking before riding off - run the engine and check you have 14.4V at the battery terminals before taking it out.
