I've taken the speedo out, again.
I put a new drive cable in and its never worked since.
I'm thinking of buying a GPS speedo for it.

Swapped knackered shocks for rebuilt ones, swapped instrument filaments for led…seem very bright, May look at a damper of some sort. Tackled a front brake shorting problem, not my strong point and wasn’t looking forward to it. Started at the bulb end and found a loose wire, result, fixed in minutes. Just got to fit the knobblies on my rough rims now, all will then be ready for Lands End Trial, anyone else coming?

I have used a DTI gauge to set the valve clearances. it seems so much accurate and easier than using feeler gauges.

So….green canvas sniper tape x2 over the lenses calmed the LEDs, shocks were great, brake light still works. Lands End was fantastic, I came a very credible 24th in my Class. There were 24 in my Class.
