Finally got to the bottom of my lack of brake/indicator lights. Dirty connectors on the rear brake light switch.

Changed the front sprocket over and put on road tyres. Blood sweat and tears. I had forgotten how much fun it was. The MT350 I have just got, was geared up for off road use so getting her back to normal road use. Next job is to lower the front end so my feet actually touch the ground. Pleased to find my bike on you tube last night on a road trip to Wales from seven years ago so can see what she used to look like. Now christened Gladys

Choke on, kick kick kick - wont start - choke off, kick kick kick kick, wont start - half throttle & no choke, kick kick kick - wont start - then follows about 10 minutes of any number of increasingly sweaty combinations of throttle, choke, leaving it, kicking it, swearing at it.
Oh look - the plug lead had been left off by some tw*t. Replace, starts first kick as normal

Did quite a bit of off-roading today with the result of broken indicator, dented tank and bent bars. Bugger

Headlight not working, but pass flash does....check fuse box says Nick at Force. When it dropped out in two halves, I had a light bulb moment!
Sorted now, thanks Nick.

That huge filler cap on the MT is handy. You can get a long tyre lever in and use it to batter out the dents I made on Sunday.

Not today but last weekend. Put on new chain and replaced broken rear indicator stalk. Start sorting out some of the rust now

Took Gladys for a ride around Plympton. Forgot how they draw a crowd, even at PHD.

not exactly today but 3 days ago-I fell off of it -first time I have hit the tarmac since 1983 when I got spat off a yam 750 triple in the lake district.was going to price a welding job at a haulage contractors depot and just as I was turning in realized-way to late- that a wagon had dumped diesel all over the place.the front wheel just slide away and I bit the tarmac.most annoying bit was that I scraped my new davida helmet .bike was fine-just a few more scratches on a well scratched scruffy bike-I,m just a bit bruised luckily.
