My mum still has my ration card somewhere. 50p petrol ? that's 10 shillings. I remember ordinary stuff being 4 shillings and 10 tenpence-ha'penny, with Super at 5 ShillingsRation cards ,petrol for 50p a gallon

YES, as it happens.5 stamps a gallon. In some garages they gave away glasses(to drink from that is) as an alternativeDid you get your Green Sheild stamps with that, too

thanks for your comments but a basic tool kit will do for me and a front inner tube and the RAC membership that i have paid for 30 years ,and used twice ,any way my mate BTH BRI will borrow me some bits if i brake down and hes there for combo for all the snoring he has done at these meetings
