Hi, lovely part of the world,
I strongly recommend the campsite Cae Du campsite.
North of Tywyn, overlooking the sea and Barmouth in the distance,
Great sunsets.
There are some easy but beautiful trails nearby.
PM me if you want more details.
Cheers. John.
And ride over Barmouth bridge while you still can!

Had good times in Barmouth there are 2 bridges, the rail way bridge, which has a foot path over, you can cycle over not sure about riding motorcycles though. There is a toll bridge further up the river, maybe John, was referring to this. There is a green lane not far from the bride, turn right when you go over the bridge, and its a mile or so on the left. This goes up the side of hillside over looking the bay. There is a plaque, mentioning American air crew who died, when their bomber crashed in WW2. There is also wreckage of smaller aircraft scatter on the hillside.

I was talking about Barmouth bridge.... The rail bridge.... It is still open to motorcyclists.....
Here's the sign from it when it took tolls......

Gwynedd Council still intend to close it to pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles to save money.....
There is a toll bridge further up the estuary at Penmaenpool...
