Powys Weekend

A few of the lads that went to the Pyrenees didn't actually make it to North Wales for various reasons (Birthdays, holidays, shingles, fear of rain, you know the sort of thing) so Dave (Bugsy955) decided to invite us to his house to have another go.
Well, what a weekend. We followed the well proven MT plan: shiney motorhomes in his back yard, then rode out on Saturday. First of all we went playing over a big grassy hill which was a free-for-all playground, even if parts of it were very muddy. Minter being a hero broke his brake lever but Dave saved the day by swapping it from one of his other bikes. We then did a length of the Wayfarer IN THE SNOW. The roads over the mountains were SHEET ICE so we had a 'memorable' weekend.
After the success of this weekend, Dave is now considering organising an event for all of us - in better weather.
If it works out, there is a community centre type of hall/bunkhouse/bar on the outskirts of town which could be available.
Let us know if you are interested and let's see what happens.
Hopefully some of the lads will post some photos to show you what to expect.
