Hi all. Finally made it to Spain. I have bought over both my mts. One is still basicly original, ( to look at ) the other is, well. different ! however you look at it ! A happy life is a bike in Spain. All I ever want to do is ride my bike, and Spain offers that. Plenty of hills around and the coast ( Med ) is only 20 miles away.
Once a year a little village here in Spain called La Jana puts on a bike show. This attracts quite a few ridders. There was an Enfield, a Norton, a few B.S.A.s and a lot of 'other types of bikes'. In that lot was my MT 500. It caused quite a stir ! I love the way people just stare and mutter to themselves over it. Around went the mic and I was called up to say a few words about it. Hola is about as far as I go ! The chap with the mic was clued up on it ( so I was told ), and it recieved a round of applause. It was discribed as ' something in its own right'. Whats that mean, a rat ? we all had a good laugh.
There seems to be a few motorcycle events this neck of the woods, so if you are considering a ride out this way please contact me. The least we can do is meet up for a coffee. Just drop me a line.
All the very best to you all, and dont forget tyre pressures. Richard.
