Hey everyone just finding out how many of you would be interested in an offroading day around Holmfirth and possibly north peaks (stanage edge??? :o )
Would be next year February.
There is a campsite near Holmfirth if you wish.
Will probably be a 1 day thing "on any Sunday".
We have around 2 + hours of lanes around Holmfirth and plenty in north peaks.
Let us know what you reckon!
Lanes are not too tricky, 1 or 2 rocky bits but nothing too hard, Im sure Mell and Brian will tell you!
Cheers, Nick

I'm tempted
Be aware the Dragon week-end Friday 10th Feb 2012 . You may wish to avoid a clash or near clash with that event.

Indeed, I will be at the Dragon anyway so could do March instead.

Just be aware that a lot of caravan type sites aren't very bike friendly

8-) Theres some good greenlaning around Holmfirth ;) ....but Stanedge Edge is a fair way [IMHO] away .....I'm interested, but only the Holmfirth bit.
Campsites? .... there used to be a pub called "The Huntsman" near Holmfirth,it had a site behind it and the lanlord was a 'biker .....I'm goin' back 15-16 years here though.

Edit ....IIRC .....there's a Rally Site on this campsite

It looks like the "Huntsman" has gone a little upmarket though

best regards
