OMG - I only just read this thread - very sorry to read your mishap Rich and am glowing with pride for those who supported you. To be honest I feel a little let down that no-one seems to have got a decent shot of AmboTotty.

Get well soon mate.

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Image Image Image Image After reading your post and missing the ride out i decided to do the Kiln Bent Rd/Ramsden Rd route yesterday on my Dnepr mt12. First time done some proper off road on this bad boy.
First part down the track iwas v nice and easy, beautifully pieceful. Turned right at the house and wnet flying up the rock section. Could imagine this is actually quiet difficult on a solo bike and rather slippy but with 2wd it didnt think twice. Up i fly then taking the left onto the rutted muddy section. THis was a completely different story as the track was so well worn and at serious angles the sidecar was on a good 50 degree + sideways tip the whole time and with it being a mean 350kg didnt want that falling on me. Got stuck a couple of times, but thank god for a reverse. Eventually made it up :)
Thought the tough bit was over gently heading along the final flat track. There was a huge puddle (20m long and 1.5ft deep , put a stick in to see) so went around. Was v tight perfect for a solo, but the sidecar wheel slipped and i got stuck on the banking! 30 minutes on digging the rear axles free and multiple jacking the bike putting stones under the wheel she was free but had scamper back out of the puddle ready for a run up to get though.
Plowed through it with a great wave soked from head to tow, but a fantastic day.
Cant wait to take the MT up there!!
