I don't mind if we drink en-suite or at the pub. Though on balance I would think Friday night would be a poor night for Tree to run a bar as I for one won't be getting wide eyed and legless :-)
You will when you see Tree!!

Update on the plans for the weekend:

Friday: Arrive as and when you can. Those that want to are free to go into town if they wish but we will be firing up the firepit, then the bunkhouse will be providing pies/pasties/bottles of beer through the evening at a reasonable cost. There will be a charge of ÂŁ25 for the logs for the fire but that should only add a couple of ÂŁ each at the most. Feel free to bring your own food / beer if you prefer.
Saturday: Over breakfast, everyone will pay the bunkhouse for accommodation/breakfast. It is highly likely that we won't be allowed access to the big hill due to the lambing season so we will all ride up the the Wayfarer, where we will stop regularly at various obstacles for Gary to teach us the correct way to tackle them. Those that don't need tuition will be free to continue riding the trails so nobody need to wait around or get bored.
Saturday night: Evening meal at the Cain Valley Hotel.
Sunday: Go home whenever your are in a fit state to do so.
Really looking forward to it now.

So, due to a small change of plans, I am pleased to say shall be coming to join you all.
Have to work in the morning, so should be there in the evening at some point. Computer says 5 hour drive.....
After part 1, I'm quite looking forward to it. I shall be taking my telephone out this time.
Most important lesson learned, check on the person that should be behind you.....
see you there

I've done some research amongst my TRF pals and have managed to identify a good and challenging loop of greenlanes (offroad - but not really given that they are legal vehicular rights of way). Clear?

So if the original route is unavailable due to lambing we can follow the above.

Count me in. I've managed to book the Friday off work, so actually stand a chance of arriving during daylight hours!

Geoff. That sounds great. We had planned to go up to the Wayfarer but that is about 12 miles to the start so hopefully your route might be closer/more convenient. We can discuss the finer points on Friday night.
Jooles & Laurence. Glad you're coming. See you there.
