I would be interested, depending on the dates.

No sheep or rabbits needed, pot noodles all the way.

EVENT UPDATE

Just to let you know how things are progressing with the Pennine Way event.

Wirralman (Eric) is researching green lanes along / close to the road routes in order to give the "off roaders" an extra challenge.

Dates - not yet firmed up but most likely sometime in May 2011.

I will be contacting campsites to see what is on offer etc. It appears that most riders will be camping.

To date about a dozen members have expressed an interest in the event.

Just a few lines to up-date those members who are interested in this event.

Following consultation with Wirralman Eric we have agreed to run this event from May 13th to May 16th 2011.

I have contacted four campsites and nearly completed the three road routes. Eric is looking at possible "green lane" excursions for the off road chaps.

Members are welcome to join in for all the days or select those days which best suit them, bearing in mind work, holidays, family etc.

If the interested members could send me an email to: gilligd@hotmail.co.uk I will forward them a PDF document with the campsite contact numbers, addresses and road routes.

If you require anymore info please contact me.
