Hi Phillip

I saw details on the FB page for the same dates this year too.

I was chatting to Pirate not so long back and Its still on for those dates..

Maybe Pirate or Frank will be along soon to confirm as its around about now we get a menu list to choose from for the Saturday night...

I'll be there with club shop and spares support and my trusty 555 Armstong!

:D
Yep everything is on the go.
Scout hut in Parkend, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
Nearest town is Lydney approx 4 miles away.
If you Google "Fountain Inn, Parkend, Gloucestershire then you will be just around the corner from the scout hut, for those of you who are first time visitors.
Due to injury I doubt I will manage to lead a trail, but I can supply knowledge for those who wish to venture out, and I believe Steve White is willing to take a group out.
If I can manage it I may be able to do a bit of gentle riding depending in how well my next Dr appointment goes.

Space is limited, depending on how many turn up.
There is space to park extra large vans outside the gates, and on the road.
There is also lots of space a short walk away near the pub.
I believe the scouts are asking us to be aware that "camper vans" maybe breaching their planning permission/ act of use ???? As they are only suppose to have tents in the compound. Forest of Dean council are cracking down on "wild camping".
As long as we don't take the Piss I'm sure no one will notice or bother us.
Gary's van is disguised as a shop, plain vans not a problem, camper vans .... ok I guess, mobile homes maybe ok if we park them outside the gate, Winnebago or anything bigger.......book into Whitemead campsite behind the scout hut please. ;)

They should get their priorities right and crack down on the 'wild' people. ;)

Should that read my usual 'non appearance?' Booked on the last 3 events - absent from parade. You go to jail for less in my world!
