lol workin on it phil,
its a bit of an hybrid brembo master cylinder grimeca caliper it failed on the last outing at wye but i thought id sussed it by increasing the brake lever free play,
and reducing the fluid level, i guess not
i will put another caliper on and try that if i have time if not it'll be reyt,

I seizes with heat, which must (?) be caused by friction, so, possibly, pads are too close to the rotating disc when it's in motion? You know what you're doing, you'll suss it.

I had a similar problem on one of my old airhead twins. It was solved by simply letting out some of the brake fluid - I had reverse bled them and they were very quick, too quick, to bite. However, I know you tried this down at the Wye Valley meet.

If your disc is getting hot, I'd strip the caliper down and clean it to ensure that the everything can move freely.

If it IS clean, are the pads too big ? I've eased sticky pads by running a file around the edges of the pad backing plate, the old plates had moved quite freely whereas the new one where just a tad larger . It might be worth looking at the pads first to see if there any obvious shiny high spots

If you have uneven pad wear , that may indicate a sticking pad on one side. I've had that on an MT

Great weekend down in the garden of England! Well done Laurence for putting this shin dig together! The map reading challenge added a new twist to an MT ride out weekend! Cheers to Stu who helped out with the smooth running of the weekend as well as Laurence's sister Lucy who kept us all in order in the pub!

Most travelled award went David who ventured all the way from Northern Ireland! Some bloke on an old blue MT won the map reading, despite everyone else's best efforts to camouflage the plaques!

Shame Lard couldn't make it - missed out on his free T shirt! Although he did eventually join us by video link!

Another great year of MT ride outs now over, looking forward to 2020 already where I hope to see more new faces and bikes!

Thanks Lawrence and all who helped organise , was great to see you all for the final meet of the year and managed a short ride out , sorry I couldn't stay longer ,. Look forward to more adventures in 2020
