Indeed, sounds like a planBonnielad wrote:It's not far from the Green Dragon to Tan Hill. Maybe we could combine them?

Haha, fair play, wasn't suggesting a piss up, just throwing it out there.Bonnielad wrote:Be aware that the pub in Nottingham is in the city centre. The destination might be worth a drink (when riding?) but the journey won't be much fun
I'd be just as up for a tan hill run

Re: Yorkshire Meeting Conversation Area (YMCA)
Gents, Steve AKA Bonnielad has asked if I could pop in and sound out a possible weekend meet in June. I believe you used the bunkhouse last time but there is also a camping field at the back of the pub. On Sunday evening, 7th, I will pop in and check for availability, prices on both options and also discuss your breakfast criteques . Chinese burns and nipple clamps may be required, I am sure I can apply sufficient pressure on both in order to get mine hosts on side.

Re: Yorkshire Meeting Conversation Area (YMCA)
not wanting to stamp on folks feet but things seem to have gone from lets just meet up for a drink/brew n chat now and then into planning 'events'.
So is there anyone who is local who would be interested in a meet up from the Rotherham/Doncaster/Barnsley/Sheffield area? If folks from miles away want to come along that's cool, I just think we might be able to find somewhere that is accessible by public/SWMBO transport too so a drink could be had. I'm just after being able to get together for a chat, my MT's not together so no point in planned rides for me. Also I don't have the time to go driving an hr or so to distant places I'd rather spend that time in company of others.

No problem Pete that's the sort of stuff we need too. Throw in some dates and a location. I know it's hard keeping up with current planned events but avoid clashes where possible.
May be for the time being admin could just open an avents thread to just list dates and locations. Add edited onto one opening message ?

I'm up for that Pete. Squires on Sunday might not suit everyone but nobody said this was a one-off. I'm happy to go along with any suggestions.
