... A Day out with Gronk ...

Post by pupster » Sat Mar 29, 2014 7:56 pm

... Took my bike for it's MOT this morning, passed fine..... Gronk turned up to pick up a tyre and we decided to do a couple of lanes ...
From Machynlleth, the first lane we did runs from Happy Valley to Rhydynonen Station near Bryncrug. It's pretty rocky... It took us about 40 minutes.... I came off and smashed my front light.....has anyone got a spare please?....

Then we went down to Tywyn, Filled up with fuel, Met up with my friend Matt who has an XT 600, rode over the new Bailey Bridge at Tonfannau, then headed to Fforrd Ddu (Black Road), the old Roman drovers road from Llanegryn to Creggegen lakes.... Stopped at the memorial on the mountain....

Thanks for showing me around the lanes John - I had a great day. It was nice to see Ruth again and also to meet Matt. I had a good ride home, even if my dinner was in the dog when I got back!
Thanks again......(I must come and get another tyre off you some time soon).
