First post… I recently bought a 1985 MT500 which I’m intending to use just for fun. No restoration but I’ll keep it in good condition and to start that process it’s getting a new loom because nothing works other than the headlight 🙄. I have started it twice but I think that was more luck than judge...

Re: What have you done to your MT today ? contd

Took the back brake apart on my MT500 to check the shoes, and glad I did as I found that all bar one of the wheel bearings were dodgy, one not far off collapsing. No obvious symptoms from riding it, but that might just be me :D

Re: New Owner

Hi, I have just purched my new, well new to me MT350. My location is on the east coast of Suffolk the most easterly point of the UK only a short ride away. No doubt I have a steep learning curve in learning about my MT. My first question hopefully I wont have to many is, when I remove the ignition ...

Re: How to ride a military bike

Why am I not surprised that the Germans are far more efficient at riding bikes than our lot. They can up and down hills, even through water, and all without falling off. But we'd all ride better accompanied by a manic drums and trumpets.

Re: New Member.....

Hi, just joined the forum and recently purchased an MT500. Just trying to get to grips with it. Wrecked my shin trying to start it for the first time when my wet foot slipped off the kickstart and my shin went down the footpeg. Ah well, I've now learned from that experience. Or you have your foot t...
