Re: SOUTHWEST MEET UP
Hi All
I am in the Exeter this year first trial for 2 years( Get my excuses in early for poor performance).
My 580-MT is all fettled up and ready to go. I even have a sat nav fitted this time (very posh).
See you at Simms, I hope.
Not Brave just daft.

Re: Hello
Hi Guido. Matt and Myself are all ready to go for the Lands end. Both starting from Popham, we have a couple of other MT's starting with us as well who I think are probably Phil and Andrew, so an Olive Green frenzy. I just hope it is drier than the Exeter. We are contemplating carrying on after the ...

Re: Lands end trial
Lot's of loveliness in green. :D There will be 3 of the Devizes team Matt, Phil and myself at Popham, as you say a fantastic turnout all round for MT's. I am running my MT580 this year which I had a first go on in the Exeter. It's a lazy bike with electric start and disc brake plus a little more umm...

Re: Exeter Trial
Sorry to hear you had so many problems but great that you enjoyed it. Every event is a learning process. I had to retire from an event once before starting as I had taken the wrong MOT with me. Getting a good nights sleep before the event is always crucial, in fact I normally try to get a coup...

Re: Exeter Trial
There were 3 of us from Devizes riding MT's Matt on a 500e Phil on a 500 and me on a MT580e number 80. We saw Guido although didn't get a chance to say hi as we did not see him at the end. I hope you had a good ride. I saw the video of Guido going up Simms in grand style. Phil unfortunately retired ...

Re: Lands end trial
So much for the gold I ended up a Bronze. I had thought my restart was ok in one of the sections but obviously an observer though otherwise and I had an inexplicable foot on an earlier section which I am sure I cleaned. It is always a problem on these events that the marshals are observing sections ...

Re: Lands end trial
Dear Guy Yes I think I got a Gold :D Poor Matt was gutted at losing out at the last section. Matt has done the testing trial and had a great time, I have always been on Holiday but I may do it this year. It is a very different event being a lot of sections in a couple of lumpy fields but fun none th...

Re: Lands end trial
Hi all I was number 98 it was great to meet Guido, Westy and all. I was riding with Matt on the MT500e number 99. Great to hear you all had a good time and if anyone else is thinking of having a go then I am always happy to give advice. The MT43 tyres are great for the trial and although make the ro...

Re: Lands End Trial Easter 2012
The event was great. Well done Chris who got a finishers certificate on his first event. In fact I think all the Mt's got to the end. I think a few had lie downs, including me at Crackington, that damn clay got me again :x The fog over night was a challenge and made it a particularly tireing event. ...
