I am changing these because the stainless system I have had on it for years is not a very good fit and blows, I have read that these were a faulty batch made years ago. The downpipes don't bend...

Very difficult for the first 11 years! Now its set up right its a doddle (most of the time )!

There appears to be a fault with it - a black cylindrical piece in front of the cylinder??

Before I treat the MT to a new set of brake pads (350 disc conversion) does anyone have any reccomendations for a particular brand?
