Post by mt bandit » Mon Sep 03, 2018 6:52 pm

Hello all .
If anyone from our club was lucky enough to scoop the mt350 that went for £1020 on the isle of Wight.
As I live on the island . I will happily pick it up for you and store it safely at my place until your ready to swim across

I thought the same thing! Given that for most people there's a water crossing to collect it , pick up costs could be a factor in the low sale price

Yes definitely. It was a factor in the price .
I definitely would of got divorced if I'd tried to sneak it into my collection.
I can assure you lads . It wasn't me .
This time of the year a van is Gona cost you £80+ each way on the boat .
I get residents permits I can get across and back for about £60

Unless he was planning to stay on the island , I'd have expected him to make four trips🤔

Isle of Wight is one of the most expensive stretches of water in the world to cross it is often said , been there many times and it's open wallet surgery . I've actually taken a car to France and back in the past for less than IOW

If you think that's expensive try Steam Racket to the Isle of Man. This TT I paid £370 for a motorbike !

They were probably making the most of it in case you didn't come back with a motorcycle, it is a race track after all. ;)
