Hi i have purchased an Armstrong 500, having owned 9 different Motomorini off road bikes I have found many simularities, normal Italian parts (quality) shared, as Motomorini Camels/Kanguros are no longer available Armstrongs are a more than worthy substitute, also ride a Buell Firebolt xb9r. Ian.

Welcome to the forum
The reason why you have found Italian similarities is that Armstrong bought out SWM, tweaked their design and produced the MT500

Harley Davis subsequently did the same thing , bought Armstrong and produced the MT350
