HD owners club

Post by Robp » Thu May 10, 2018 5:47 pm

Please forgive my ignorance and the possible slight to the MT but is it possible for an HD badged MT to belong to the HD owners club. It may sound like sacrilege but I’m interested in the bike and the club. No I don’t want a standard Harley.

Why would anyone want to belong to any Harley club ?

The forum has MT owners, who also have standard Harleys and they are fine people

Seeing as your question is about the rules that the HD owners club apply, you may be best asking them what their rules are

I agree wirrelman and I have been trying to do that but they have difficulty with bikes out side of their regular mould. I have supplied a VIN of a particular MT350 to see what they say.

That was easy.

You answered it yourself.

Well done and welcome to 'our club'.

We'll take anyone even if they turn up on the wrong bike or paint MT's the wrong colour.

One of Groucho Marx lines was
' I wouldn't want belong to any club that would accept me as a member '

It sounds like you only want to buy an MT so that you can belong to the HD owners club An odd reason to buy an MT , first time I've come across it

To be a member of a Harley Owners Club it’s fairly obvious that you need to own a Harley. As an MT 350 is as Harley as any of the other Harley models, having been built by Harley in the USA, you can join the Owners clubs. I own MTs and am in the Rutland Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).
