there s a 350 out there for me somewhere....

Post by Turbogirl » Sun Apr 15, 2018 2:57 pm

Or maybe a 500 but I'm a lazy old lady and I like the idea of a combo start... and I'm a chick chick chicken so a drum brake front.. .. hmmm!

So I've not ridden since a GS and SP370 about 20 years ago but now I'm working grounds locally, I've space to ride and fancy a bit of fun on the way to the day job and back. I've been a landy off roader for years- we like our ex military stuff so the Armstrong would fit in beautifully!

I've done a bit of Bushcraft too, make my own kit cos I'm tighter than a gnats chuff... restored landys so I'm not helpless mechanically... anyway it's all about the bike! hoping for mechanically sound, road reg, possibly tatty, ideally with original racks and single seat...mmm that's about it, off to veiw the for sale section!

Welcome aboard. Why not come along to our Big Meet next month and introduce yourself? It seems you've got a strong enough constitution to cope with a gang of reprobates

She found me... a lovely 500, she wasn't sure to begin with and played hard to catch at the start , thwacked me on the shin a few times to show me who's boss...the usual, I'm guessing, from my post stalking!

Anyway she's ex steel pony and there's references in the paperwork to a Kieth Wilson who seems to have loved her well... does anyone know him? Tell him she has a new bezzie and is going strong :)

I'd love any back story on work done on her if anyone knows of her x 66KG31 is believed to be her MoD reg :)
