U.S. MT500 Ohlin rear shock rebuild

Response received from Ohlin repair facility in Akron, Ohio USA;

Hi Bruce,

I believe you are in possession of a pair of Ohlins Twin Shocks AC407-2 built for an Armstrong and set up for Army use July 17, 1984.

They are 419mm long with a stroke of 149mm.

I can only assume that a standard vintage seal head assembly and bump rubber will work
