Successful week assembling two engines and running three up on the test bed. Finished the week off nicely with a Tidy Friday! Workshop and stock and paperwork all sorted!
The 405 some of you may recognise as a 348 engine we stripped down a few years ago which had been grit blasted and powder coated as one lump by a charity organisation.. It looked great but wouldn't start! It runs well now with twice the power!
A 604 race engine stripped for a health check in anticipation for some 2021 action.
And finally some nice new folders for our technical library!

This week has been mainly about an old 504mil engine which arrived in bits. We like giving new life to these old engines.

This week has been mainly about engines in bits! One assembled with a Sportax 89.5 semi slipper piston all ready for the test bed..

3 engines dismantled to use all the best bits in another 89.5mm but this time with an electric start.

A gloss black 604 and frame back from the powder coaters and finally the arrival of a damn fine looking Armstrong MT500 for some Sportax tuning and TLC!

This week has seen an old Armstrong checked over and one of our carb kits fitted. Pete was so chuffed at how easy it started and performed he went on a 3 hour bike ride in -1 freezing weather!

The CCM 636 is also taking shape. Should have this one fired up in the frame next week.

I reckon that there must be two Sportax workshops, one where the work is done with tools all over the place and one for the photoshoots Great to see bikes and engines getting Sportax attention

This week has been mainly about finishing the CCM 636 and firing it up in the frame. Half way through assembling the second grey engine badged as a KTM and the arrival of a nice looking Armstrong MT500 for some Sportax TLC!

And the new headovers arrived for the club shop!
