Evening everyone,

After a bit of testing and dynoing we now have a Dellorto 4 stroke carburetor suitable for use on an MT350 and our Sportax 405cc Rotax engine.

The performance advantage on a 350 is a hike in rear wheel power from 18bhp with the CV carb to 26 with our Dellorto upgrade kit.

Added to the 405cc engine we produce 40bhp at the rear wheel!! A standard 604 produces 41!

Here is the link to the new carb kits:

New special offers for December will be released tomorrow..

Don't forget the club shop for your MTRC merchandise too! We now have plenty of hoodies in stock for those cold night's working on your Bike!

After testing the Dellorto 34 for the last few months I can confirm this carb works very well on the 405 conversion. Instant pick up from initial throttle opening all the way through the rev range. Very pleased with it. :D

I assume there is a penalty to pay with the fuel consumption, does that depend how you use the throttle?

if its fueling proper then fuel consumption should be relevant ,
as you say derrick use the throttle for the joy of acceleration but then have to brake to spoil the joy,
braking is how you raise fuel consumption.

Fuel consumption figure I have collected indicate about 57 mpg on road and 52 mpg off road.

Hello everyone!

After a busy few months moving to a new workshop we are settling in well and just about know where everything now is!

Today I even created a new category on our website called 'Rotax Engines'

We have a few engines now back up and running or customers with a change of plan wanting to sell their own engines.

We have just sold a 405e which is on its way to Lithuania!

We have a race spec 555 kicker and a 636e still for sale with more coming soon.. Pictures and videos of them running on our test bed are on the link below.

Here's a link to our new engine category:

https://sportaxracing.co.uk/product-cat ... x-engines/

Thought we would advertise this here before our 'For Sale Friday' Facebook page advert. You can access our Sportax FB page via the website for non Facebookers. Which we update on a weekly basis.

That's all the news for now, give us a call for any Rotax or MT advice or pop in for a cuppa and a ride around our Test Track on a 600cc MT motorcrosser or try a 555cc powered Armstrong!
