This would be in mild steel, raw finish. He is based in Cumbria so he was also concerned about carriage but I suggested it would always be possible to sort a meet up at Stafford (or something similar). So the next step would be to get hold of a pair for him to look at. Are there any available?
price seems reasonable.

Yes I was expecting more than that. Good find.
I would have a modified one for the 350. I know Iv mentioned it but their are so many members cobbling things together I'm sure there is a market.

Twould look good on an MT350 as the basic framework of the pannier could be the same design so he could supply attachable brackets [in a similar fashion to the front panniers donut supports] depending on which bike it was for

Steve have you enquired if he will do a 350 rack/racks. Am sure someone local could supply a bike for him to measure up?

I've not done anything further. Realistically I need someone to come forward with patterns then he's got something to work with. I haven't asked him about modifying 500s to fit 350s but provided everything is there in front of him don't think he'll refuse the business.

The Web site doesn't have an address, did you say Cumbria?

Lets bump this up.
Right chaps, if you are serious about a supply of pannier racks now is the time to say so. John (Classic Racks) will be on stand 122 at the Stafford Classic Bike show so next weekend is the perfect opportunity to take him some samples/ discuss if the club wants a quantity to stock/ discuss variants for 350s/ whatever.
I've hurt my thumb so I don't think I'll be green laning from Stafford so I'll probably be going to the show.
Come on somebody make a decision.

Just to reply to this .
We have made a club decision not to get involved in getting these made and stocking in club shop . Mainly because heavy bulky items for storing and shipping , and we on admin team have decided we dont want to be middle man in the supply of these .

Happy of course to publicise this supplier if any members wish to use them directly - and would be interested to hear how it turns out if any do get made .

should be possible for a few members to club together on this if enough demand hopefully and get a batch made

Thank you

Ian

We didn't arrange as a club to get any made.
Maybe someone on here selling will contact you , otherwise best chance is probably eBay , or try Force motorcycles or LMS Lichfield for those kind of bits . They do still come up for sale at times
