Very nice indeed :D I may put a Honda XR 200 engine in my Bantam after seeing that project. I love the look of the old bikes but sometimes they are let down by the technology of the day.

An update on my project. Loosely assembled for the pictures. Engine has had the Sportax treatment and is now leccy start and looks mighty fine. I have tried to stay true to BSA and use as much MT / Can am stuff as possible. Forks are can am 250 turned down and polished with the can am hub. Foot pegs are MT. brake lever is half MT half Can am. Controls are MT. Electrics are in the electric box as BSA intended!

I suspect that the contents of the electric box will last a lot longer than it does on a stock B50. I like my MT500 and MT350 but a B50 engine is a thing of beauty!!

Nice job, and good looking BSA retrofit with the Rotax engine.

Hi all
Just about ready for the MOT now. Had it running today for the first time. Unable to use the 17T sprocket as can't get the chain tension right so gone up to 18t. Will repaint the tank to match the panels once fettled and happy with it.
