Good spot !

Whether the authorities actively follow up on this who knows, but if you're spotted with a another minor problem, loud exhaust or something, any plate infringement would be added.

This must affect so few vehicles, I would have thought that government time could have been better spent elsewhere. They move in mysterious ways, their wonders to perform.....

I've just got round to making up a black and white plate for my '85 MT. I know it's not quite legal and my MOT man wouldn't stand for it but apart from that one day a year I've decided to use it.

Did anyone ever bottom out the “portrait” vs “landscape” issue? At the moment, I’m portrait but terrified that if I break the thing, it’ll have to replaced with landscape.
