The smooth finish is now covered in bits of zinc which although easy to rub down, I was hoping this would be a finished item. For reasons of H&S they couldn't let me watch the process but one of the guys brought one straight out to me and as he turned it round some more molten zinc poured out, a problem of poor venting he said (where the internal coating cant drain away quickly)
It may be just how I'm feeling at the moment but at least they'll last forever!

What a bummer but to be fair they will probably outlast the bike! :)

Definitely, its smoothing out well too . The coating is well thick.

They look good, and very tempting, at least with a covering of green.

In my opinion, I would perfer a good zinc coat for these, as they will get knocked about. A hot dip zinc coat is better dealing with abrasion than powder coat (from the point of rust prevention)
