MT500 Rear Racks& MT350 jerry can rack - custom made

Post by MT Pocket » Tue Dec 14, 2010 9:56 pm

Here offered are faithfully reproduced sets of rear pannier racks for the Armstrong MT500. Made from 5/8ths (16mm) steel of (1/16th (1.5mm) wall) and despatched in primed and finished in green.
The mountings/brackets are the same thickness as original including the spacer tubes which are 1/8th (3.2mm) wall.
Even got the pump 'pimple'

Racks are √ā¬£120 per pair plus P&P

And here is an MT350 front rack addition for a 20ltr or 10ltr jerry can or a pannier bag/rucsack. This just slips over the pannier frame doughnut.

MT350 front Rack is √ā¬£50 per side plus P&P

Sure Matt,
I'm sure something sturdy can be fabricated (is this for Morocco?) I can make anything except a nuclear reactor, if you want one of those ask Brian
Madstu has suggested a headlight rack too although I don't know where people are mounting these to.
Any other ideas anyone.

Double cleated footpegs - ongoing.
