Predator Clutch plates warning

Predator offer MT500 clutch plates which can be bought considerably cheaper, due to the fact they aftermarket copies manufactured to order. The downside is they didn't fit my unit. which resulted in some 90 odd shoulders having to be filed to size , took ages and with hindsight would I do it again? Definitely no!
Informed Predator but no response.

I'm not surprised.

Buy cheap buy twice! Or spend time modifying to fit!
Good point to raise as everyone does like a bargain especially now a days..
We use what I describe as a mk3 clutch plate made by Sureflex. The same company who made them for Rotax. Sold and fitted over 200 of these friction plate kits with no problems..
Always worth checking your clutch steels if you have the clutch in bits as the slightest warping of the steel is what causes the neutral selection problem.. We often find the 1.5mm steel is missing in a 348 engine as well which is also important.
Hope that helps
