Rear Rack bags

Post by diggerdogk9 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 3:56 pm

Image As promised Mt rear rack bags in water proof canvas with H duty Zip

My own design so not a replacement part. Perfect for the odds n sods we all like to carry on our bikes, Also a standard plastic fuel can fits still with room for a couple of beers !

Guys it is what it is however Any thoughts or alterations considered

The one in the photo was the proto type (which im going to keep) all others will be slighty longer and wider to cover all the rack

√ā¬£42.00 + √ā¬£5.00 pnp buys you one

It looks pretty good, I've been after something to carry out essentials on days like the Twin shock trail finder..... I've been strapping a bag on with bungees and it's a right pain when you want a drink or just to get something out quickly. This looks a good answer. Is the Velcro strong enough if you've got some weight in it and it's bouncing around? Or would buckles be more secure?....

I thought the same, a lot of bike bags use velcro some have a pannal underneth :? so thought id give it a go tomorrow i will report back, however very easy mod to change to slides like Panniers or plastic side release buckles got plenty of both in stock.

planning on making some up next week when i get the pattern altered just a little bigger to fit the rack fully

Looks just what I have been searching for. :D
As said it will need to be very secure as its for use doing off road trials. I don't want to loose my tools again.
Also I would prefer one slightly smaller, not larger.

I'm interesed in one of these. Just the thing for when you don't want the panniers or gunbox fitted.
I've been using an ex-Army pouch and bungies, but this looks a good job.

A top piece of kit!
Just like the seat covers - an excellent job.
I have an inherited Kriega with a rollover and clip design on my 604 - could that be adopted on these?

Looks like a great idea, any chance of having a carry handle for when it's off the bike?
