I've had some bad experiences with buying military paint off suppliers I've not used before. The more recent produced paint to BS381 which was miles off the correct colour - looked more like apple green than military green. Supplier looked into it and had to admit that his paint mixing system had developed a problem before refunding my money. The other supplier produced a paint that took days to dry and finally cure. After the paint should have properly dried, I tried to wipe off some marks on the swinging arm with white spirits which completely dissolved the paint! The supplier couldn't explain what was wrong with the paint.

As a result of this, I now wouldn't buy this sort of paint from anyone except a trusted supplier. I would definitely use a paint supplier that someone else has recommended.

Whereas the MT500 was painted with a BS code, I think the MT350 was not . I suspect a US code was used with a reasonably close 90+% RAL code available
Having painted armoured cars whilst in service , I can assure you that colour fidelity was not a high priority

Sorry to join this a bit late but I've got a bucket of this - unfortunately last time I went past Leavesley they didn't seem to be there anymore.

There's also http://www.marcusglenn.com/ near Kings Lynn that sells aerosols that seems a close match for the above. Shipping makes it a bit expensive if you only buy one tin though.
