I'm just pointing out that with 40 years of biking experience he must've seen a front sprocket up close. I'd also expect at some point during the last 40 years somebody to have asked him 'Are you stupid?' for asking something stupid. I'd further expect the fella to get a load of grief if he burst into tears and complained about people picking on him.

I showed my 12 year old girl the picture of the neutral switch and within 10 minutes she showed me where it 'probably' was as it was hidden behind a sprocket cover.

She only has 8 years of motorcycle experience and is quite used to being asked if she's stupid for asking a stupid question.
