Swap KX125/KDX200 enduro bike for your MT350

Post by stevegayton » Tue Jun 12, 2018 1:27 am

I'm looking for an MT350 and thought I'd see if anyone wanted to do a swap for my Kawasaki KX125/KDX200 enduro bike.
The bike is road registered and is a 1999 KX 125 motocross bike fitted with a KDX 200 enduro engine.
It's a brilliant greenlaner and in the right hands an enduro winner, sadly not my hands as I'm not capable of using it to it's full potential due to severe lack of skill.
It's currently on SORN and the MOT has run out. I bought it from JB bikes in Wisbech and it was the shop owners own machine so I'm sure they would have no issues giving any info about it.
It was MOT'd as a daytime ticket as it has no lights and there is no speedo fitted as it's a competition bike but these are not required for an MOT.
I guess if you wanted you could fit a bicycle speedo for peace of mind :)
It was built by a guy who works for RedBull racing to a high standard and is as good as if the factory had built it.
Given that it's not turned a wheel in anger for months it would benefit from a service but it runs as it should and rides perfectly.
To my mind it's as it stands I think it's worth £1,500 and I'm willing to go to £2,500 for a good MT350 so that's my KX plus £1000 in your hand for the right bike.
PM me if interested

Sorry Gremlin nothing in my PM inbox. Bike is now under offer so may be sold once we agree on terms. Sorry about that although it does mean I'm closer to getting my own MT
