Hello everybody,I've just bought an ex army can am 250,as a project for my collection,it is unmessed about with and even has a new not project because it doesn't select any gears,but the kick start has snapped does anyone out there happen to have one,hope someone can help thanks Gary

Thanks gave them a try after your suggestion,but they have none and have suggested another place to try,didn't think it could be so hard to find a Kickstarter !

i think they can be hard to find , when i bought mine i was warned not to brake the kick start , but he didn't say why , keep you eyes peeled on the bay , one will turn up eventually

Is it the kickstart itself or the splined part that you need? I have a kickstart lever but the spline part is knackered. So if your spline is fine you can swap them over.

Unfortunately it's the splined part looks like it's been repaired too many times in the past,just got the bike as a project because it won't select any gears,the seller put a new not on it but the kickstart went as he started it at mot centre

I seem to have tried half of Canada looking for a kickstart with no luck so I'm back to hoping someone has one in a shed or even a full engine with one for sale !
