Member Roly in poor shape

Post by Bunker » Sun May 18, 2014 8:55 am

Roly was due to attend Stafford this year but was a 'no show'. Ian very thoughtfully followed this up to find poor old Roly had a mild stroke the day before the event.
I've been in touch with him and he says he's been extremely lucky that it was a mild one and long term damage will be minimal. He is hoping to be driving within a week from now.
We wish you well matey, and a swift full recovery.

Hope you recover well Roly...... please take a look at which is a national charity for working age stroke survivors.... they try to arrange local exercise groups which can be really helpful in your recovery. Their web site will tell you if they have a local group to you. They also have a lot of free info you can download, especially useful may be the information for employers which helps to explain the difficulties you may have and information for family members to help them understand some of the changes you may have.
Please feel free to PM me if you need any further information or help.
