Landrover wheels

Post by Spiritrider » Fri Mar 25, 2016 4:13 pm

Hello chaps,

we have in a barn at our yard 5 wheels with tyres. Think they are from the series 2 or 3 model, 110. Sorry not a Landy owner so a bit limited on the knowledge of these things.
3 of them have the same tread plus 2 odd ones. If anyone interested then please let me know.
I'm not too good on sending pictures on the forum (as yet) but can send them via email. Also bear in mind my location.

Thanks for reading.

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

A couple of years ago I tried selling steel landrover rims with old tyres on them, in the end I put them up as a freebie, just to get shot of them

Without the tyres they are worth about £10 each but with the tyres on they will be harder to sell because of the cost disposal and removal (if you cannot DIY it).

If you can find the part numbers that should be stamped on them it will also help as some types are more sort after.

Thanks Simon, for putting the pics on.

Me and the lads at work are unaware of their value. We just need to make room but an exchange of beer or cake money wouldn't go amiss.
I'm back to work next Monday but we'll need to shift them soon.

Thanks.
