i chatted to the owner at some length, he has a good number of ex military vehicles about the place too, i think its one of those situations where all is for sale if he believes you are going to do something interesting with the purchase :geek: thing is for me that i am after a series 2, 2a or early 3 so i didnt go any further. :(

I could almost guarantee him that I would give him loads of cash, trailer it home, be divorced by the wife, park it on the drive with a tarp over it, take a few bits of tub off, clean the windscreen then 4 years later sell it for alot less than I paid for it. Surely thats the route for any discerning Land Rover owner?
