i am currently having my rear wheel rebuilt here.

there are not many around these parts ,hence the reason i had to go down to magull.

Hi Brian,
what did he charge? Does he work from home or the garage on the website? Thats just down the road from me. In fact it used to be owned by an old friend (ex WW2 dispatch rider) and he used to MOT our bikes there.

I queried the location with Brian. He said
he actually has his workshop /home in lydiate. L31 4EL.

picked up today . cost breakdown :-
blast and powdercoat rim(contracted out) = £ 45
st/st spokes (hagon,+ p&p) £ 76 + 8
build and make true wheel = £ 35

the spokes make up the bulk of the cost. central wheels spokes are only a tad cheaper. he makes his own steel spokes and are a lot cheaper as a result but stainless is the way to go imho.

overall ,am happy with the finished result.

Not too different to prices we charge which is nearer £200 but it does include the hub blasted and powder coated as well..

Worth every penny as id adds the finishing touch to any bike...!
